Travel Specialist - BAM (Booking.com Annual Meeting)

Booking.com International BV, one of the support companies in the Netherlands is looking for a Travel Specialist. The Travel Department is responsible for all internal business travel arrangements for Booking.com headquarters in Amsterdam.

We offer a 7 months contract starting as soon as possible. This is a temporary position to support the Travel Team in organising travel and accommodation for our employees for BAM - Booking.com Annual Meeting. The event will take place in Amsterdam in January 2018. You will report to the Travel and Expense Manager.

• Arrange travel for employees traveling to our headquarters in Amsterdam;
• Booking of flights, trains, rental cars, ground transportation and accommodation;
• Handle visa applications;
• Investigate and communicate the most time- and cost efficient way of travel  based on your expertise and the wishes of the (internal) customer;
• Make sure all travel arrangements are done in alignment with company’s travel policy;
• Keep database with passenger information like passports, visa, seating preferences, Frequent Flyer etc. up to date;
• Coordinating invoices for flights, hotels etc. and providing them to our Finance department.
• Answering requests in a timely manner

• Experience working in a travel agency, events or at a corporate travel desk;
• Experience handling a high volume of travel requests;
• Proven track records of handling big groups or projects.
• Able to work independently;
• Professional, proactive, and positive attitude;
• Efficient and able to work with a deadline;
• Accurate and eye for detail;
• Customer oriented and result driven;
• Fluent in English;
• Able to set priorities, strong organizational abilities;
• Degree in tourism is a plus.
