Part-Time Veterinary Nurse – Hurlstone Park Vet Hospital

Hurlstone Park Vet Hospital is looking for a compassionate and motivated Part-Time Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.

We are a busy small animal clinic dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised care to our patients and their families. If you’re passionate about animal welfare and enjoy working in a collaborative clinical environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

As a veterinary nurse with us, you’ll be involved in a wide range of clinical and surgical duties, including:

  • Patient monitoring and inpatient care
  • Assisting in consultations and surgical procedures
  • Anaesthetic monitoring
  • Medication administration and treatments
  • Client communication and education
  • General nursing and clinic upkeep duties

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Certificate IV Vet Nurse (or equivalent)  
  • Minimum 1+ year vet nurse experience
  • Confident in general nursing duties and eager to continue learning
  • Calm and caring with patients and clients
  • A strong team player with good communication skills
  • Able to work a flexible part-time roster (including some weekends if required)
