Full-Time Veterinary Nurse – Peninsula Veterinary Surgery
Peninsula Veterinary Surgery is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated clinical team in a full-time capacity.

About the Role
As a Full-Time Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting veterinarians across a wide range of clinical and surgical cases. You will be involved in both nursing and reception duties, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Surgical nursing assistance, including anaesthetic monitoring and patient recovery
- Patient handling, restraint, and pre- and post-operative care
- Medication administration and inpatient care
- Assisting with diagnostic imaging and laboratory work
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Client communication and education
- General reception and front-of-house support when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment
We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent preferred)
- Experienced in small animal clinical practice (preferred, but motivated newer nurses are encouraged to apply)
- Confident in anaesthetic monitoring and surgical assistance
- Calm under pressure and able to multitask in a busy environment
- A strong communicator with excellent client care skills
- A genuine team player with a positive, professional attitude
