As the Freight Manager, you will set up, build and grow our land freight business. Your responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategy in collaboration with Ninja Van’s senior team
• Be responsible for performance and growth of the freight business
• Hire, train and lead the freight sales and operations teams
• Set objectives and KPIs for the team
• Establish standard operating procedures and policies with regards to land freight execution,
• driver management, reporting and customer satisfaction
• Ensure cost effective delivery of logistics services while maintaining customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Track record of leading a team - superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to cut through the noise to understand what needs to be done
• Desire to be part of a “start-up culture”
• Fluency in English in required
• Professional experience in the B2B logistics field is a plus
