We are currently looking for a VP for our Americas Services organization. Reporting to the VP of Global Services, this role will be responsible for ensuring our customers are equipped to maximize the value they derive from Elastic solutions. Our Services organization helps to catalyze our customers success and allow them to go further with Elastic. As an Elastic VP of Professional Services, you will work with the Consulting Services team to service our global customer base on billable projects. Our customers include Fortune 100 companies, startups, government entities, and nonprofits researching some of the world's most interesting and complex search problems, and our consulting team assists our customers in the use of our products towards these efforts.

The VP of Professional Services will be a customer-facing role for leading our consulting team, developing new business in the region, meeting financial targets, and building strong relationships both within Elastic and with our customers and partners. You will have the opportunity to work with a tremendous services, engineering, and sales team and wear many hats.

What you will be doing:

• Leading a distributed team that is responsible for accelerating our customers success in leveraging the Elastic Stack to power their most mission-critical use cases
• Developing a long-term strategy, execution roadmap, priorities, and investment plan to scale our Services organization to meet the demand of the future
• Planning and managing at both the strategic and operational levels
• Tracking and managing proper metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty are maximized
• Managing a dispersed and diverse team, which includes frequent travel primarily within North America, Canada and Latin America

What you bring to the table:

• 2nd or 3rd line leadership experience leading large, services teams in a software company with multi-billion dollar revenues
• 12+ years in Professional Services
• Experience in hypergrowth, SaaS environments 
• High levels of integrity, authenticity, and humility 
• Strong executive presence, influencing skills, presentation skills, and business insights
• A demonstrable desire for innovation, continuous learning, and improvement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing, and results-oriented atmosphere
• Strong track record of building and developing high performing teams
• Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across the organization
• Proven track record of building and scaling GTM offerings to support the business
• Executive sponsorship experience with large customers
• The gravitas to represent one of the most critical functions within Elastic to executive leadership, key stakeholders, and peers in other functions
• Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing customer services organization
• The ability to see the big picture without losing sight of the details
