The Challenge
OneTrust is looking for a VP, Revenue Operations (RevOps) and Strategy. The RevOps team at OneTrust is responsible for operations related to the marketing ops, sales processes, customer success operations and enablement as well as the monetization strategy at OneTrust. The VP of RevOps and Strategy will collaborate directly with Sales, Customer Success, Partner, Marketing, and Finance teams to determine strategy, implement performance metrics, design and deliver enablement and training programs and influence alignment of all revenue operations. This intersectional role will drive revenue effectiveness by establishing measurable processes to improve sales & marketing efficiency, produce actionable reporting and analysis and determine growth goals. Your Mission
- Partner closely with leadership team reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer and working collaboratively with Business Operations, Finance and Executive Leadership while being a trusted strategic advisor to other business leaders.
- Run a global operational team supporting all aspects of sales and partner operations from GTM strategy, process optimization, technology stack, territory planning, commission and incentive plans, lead-to-deal processes, proposals and sales enablement
- Establish and maintain operating cadence/rigor across all sales/field functions to ensure the health of the business on achieving key performance metrics including forecast accuracy, funnel analysis, and pipeline management
- Partner with Marketing to monitor and report on the sales funnel from lead generation through to deal. Customer Success to Finance.
- Define metrics and build processes to measure performance of post-sales operations, including capacity and utilization models for implementation teams, accelerating time to go live, and retention and expansion metrics for customer success teams.
- Run a deal desk while balancing company objectives - be it growth, ACV, segment market share, and others.
- Design and implement global training programs for sales, client success and go to market teams partnering closely with our People & Culture and Marketing teams to drive enablement from new hire onboarding, to strategies for client expansion and retention strategies
- Own Business Intelligence, using data analysis and storytelling to generate business intelligence insights for the team.
- Propose and execute new revenue & business models for new products and features
- Lead the evaluation, scope and completion of new development and technology requests aligned with operational processes
- Proactively oversee and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts
- Build and drive process, change management, and operational efficiencies throughout the organization
- Support executive deliverables such as Board Reviews, Executive QBRs, strategic planning, etc.
You Are
- A thought leader, with demonstrated success in globally matrixed environments for sales and/or operations
- Customer-focused with experience that includes transformational sales operations and running large operations
- Capable of assessing needs, influencing, collaborating, and delivering at all levels in the organization including the C-level
- Able to think and act strategically in the context of building business and sales strategies
- Deeply knowledgeable of the benefits of a centralized RevOps team and have experience working directly on aligning operations teams around the best go-to-market model
Your Experience Includes
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience
- 15+ years of experience in a Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, Strategy and/or Sales Leadership role in B2B SaaS (software-as-a-service) environments
- Deep understanding of standard business practices related to Marketing & Sales Operations processes and systems (sales cycle, CRM, Marketing applications, lead generation, reporting, forecasting, territory management, compensation planning and sales quotas)
- Ability to lead through influence, working alongside organizational leadership (Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Executive Team)
- Proven track record of leading change management, building aligned tooling and developing methods to measure and systemize Sales KPIs for internal teams and customers.
- Proven track record in operational excellence, automation and process resilience.
- High motivation for continuous improvement and ability to drive impact in a fast-paced environment. Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
- Experience architecting and managing revenue systems from ground up - CRM, Marketing Automation and BI reporting tools.
- Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels
- Excellent communication skills, particularly with executive-level partners
- Exceptional people leader: acquire, develop and retain top industry talent to perform beyond expectations
