Warehouseman/Delivery Crew

The Warehouseman will be reporting to the Warehouse Manager under the Warehouse Department. This position is responsible for the proper receipt, storage, handling and inventory of materials. The Warehouseman is also involved in the dispatching and delivery of items to clients.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Receiving Materials:

• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies or damages.
• Verify delivery documents against purchase orders or invoices.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of received goods.

2. Storage and Organization:

• Store materials systematically in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.
• Ensure storage conditions meet product-specific requirements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.

3. Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply and prevent overstocking.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Update inventory records promptly in the warehouse management system.

4. Dispatch and Delivery:

• Pick and pack items for client orders according to specifications.
• Coordinate with logistics for on-time dispatch and delivery.
• Ensure the safe handling and secure transportation of goods to clients.

5. Handling and Maintenance:

• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to health, safety, and security guidelines at all times.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of warehouse activities.
• Prepare reports on inventory, damages, or discrepancies as required.
• Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation.

• Must be disciplined, flexible, trainable and honest.
• Must be physically fit and able to carry heavy loads.
