Workday Financials Solution Architect
About this Role
WeWork’s Workday Financials Solution Architect will work on a cross-functional team across WeWork’s Financial Systems, Accounting, Digital Product, and Operations organizations. This role will focus on delivering capabilities that help WeWork weaponize its internal technology to achieve its company mission of revolutionizing the world’s workspaces.

You understand dependencies, risks, and cross-functional system impacts. You can lead change management, communication and training elements to evangelize and roll-out new functionality to the Finance Organization. You treat the business as your customer and bring initiative, self-direction and the ability to meet deadlines while simultaneously understanding when to take action to escalate issues and risks.
Responsibilities
Transform business requirements and priorities into technical requirements, prototypes, and end-to-end solutions
Review stakeholder input critically and play a leadership role in designing and recommending the best solutions for WeWork’s overall objectives
Deliver new functionality within Workday and other tools without supervision
Perform QA test work and troubleshoot significant product bugs
Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify new project opportunities
Willingness to continuously develop technical knowledge into new areas
Experience / Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CS, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a related field
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, accounting, business, MIS/CIS or a related discipline
3+ years experience with Workday Financials or other SaaS ERP products
1+ years of Workday Financials experience
Experience scoping and executing Unit, QA, and UAT test cycles
Excellent knowledge of Financial / Accounting best practices
Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Technology Controls preferred
Solid understanding of how APIs and integrations work
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Must be a skilled communicator, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability.
