We are looking for a Workshop Manager to join our Whitwell store, based in the beautiful surroundings of Rutland Water. Our store is bursting with premium bikes, clothing and accessories.
The Role:
As a Workshop Manager you will manage the well-equipped workshop and repair and maintain work on a full range of bikes from entry level to high end specifications. Leading a team of qualified technicians, you will grow our workshop business by providing industry-leading quality and service.
What you'll do:
- Day-to-day management of the workshop, efficiently scheduling the workload that comes from all aspects of our hire, service and sales business
- Responsibility for the sales performance of parts related to the workshop
- Contribute to the Company workshop strategy, both providing useful feedback and enthusiastically promoting initiatives
- Assist with ad hoc events as part of the store, or the wider Rutland and Specialized team
Who we are looking for:
- Ideally you will be Cytech trained but not essential as experience is just as important
- Excellent leadership skills to be able to proactively manage a busy workshop team both collectively and individually to meet customer expectations
- Ability to schedule jobs and prioritise them to meet customer’s needs
