Account Director, Hyperscale Sales (Remote: USA)
TLDR
Drive strategic development and execution of hyperscale sales and brand within global strategic accounts, identifying and closing high-value opportunities.
- Successfully prospect new opportunities
- Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy
- Account Planning, revenue forecasting and opportunity management for existing Hyperscale customers
- Leverage sales through partnerships, be that indirect channel partners, referrals, carrier relationships, and the like
- Participate in trade shows and hyperscale focused networking events
- This includes building and implementing account plans, and marketing plans; find new business, and build relationships with management levels within the Hyperscale accounts
- Document, create, and maintain customer contact plan and progress of contracts and revenue opportunities.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 5 years proven success in solution-based selling, preferably in the Hyperscale built-to-suit data center, powered shell, pre-lease data center space
- Have a deep understanding of high-density data center solutions
- Prior Hyperscale Account Management experience in data center vertical
- Proven track record of building business strategy, partner enablement, and creating measurable metrics to deliver on key strategies for Hyperscale and Global customers
- Successful business development and sales experience with Hyperscale Providers
- Disciplined in the use of a CRM for forecasting and sales activity tracking
- Technical understanding of:
- Data Center Infrastructure
- High density compute environments
- Networking
- Cloud / HyperScaler connectivity
- Must be articulate with a demonstrated consultative capability
- Organized
- Competitive personality
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Critical listener with effective questioning
- Self-starter that does not need constant supervision to be effective
- Able to manage high-level activity
