About Entity

Entity is building the home for console-quality gaming in the browser, unlocked by the latest web technologies. A curated console-quality game hub, developer tools and analytics, distribution, and a next-generation social and live-ops layer built into the core.

For players, we make bestselling, full-scale games instantly playable on any device with no downloads or installs - click a link and you're playing in seconds. For developers, we're building the new channel for instant gaming: self-serve tools to publish, operate, and grow their games directly with players, backed by a distribution and growth engine that changes the economics of growing a game.

We're led by a team that has founded and exited studios, scaled global gaming platforms, and shipped some of the most successful games in the industry - now focused on making the browser a serious home for the games people love. Joining Entity at this stage is a rare opportunity to help shape our company and our mission.

The role

We're looking for a highly organised and experienced Business Administrator to keep the day-to-day running of Entity smooth as we grow. Working closely with the senior team, you'll own a broad remit across finance, office and operations, HR and people admin, scheduling and communications, events and travel, and compliance and documentation - the business support that lets a fast-moving startup stay on top of the details. It's a part-time role (around four hours a day/20 hours a week - flexible) that's ideal for someone who wants to bring their experience to an exciting new Irish company in a way that works around their personal schedule and commitments.

What you'll do

Day to day

  • Financial administration - work with our external accountancy firm to track expenses, process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, run payroll admin, and help prepare basic financial reports with our accountants, for leadership.
  • Operations management - keep the business running smoothly for a distributed software team: manage software licenses and tooling subscriptions, hardware purchasing, keep access and renewals on track, coordinate internal and external communications, and help support our B2B relationships with vendors, partners, and suppliers.
  • Administrative support - be the team's point of contact for business-admin questions, fielding queries on invoices, expenses, and ops processes, and handling the recurring administrative requests that keep operations running.
  • Scheduling & communications support - manage calendars, organise company events, off-sites and meetings (including board and investor meetings), prepare agendas and minutes, and act as a point of contact between departments, external partners, and stakeholders.

From time to time

  • Event & travel admin - arrange travel, accommodation, room bookings, and prep for events like company summits, team offsites, and candidate trial days.
  • Compliance & documentation - help organise and maintain company records, ensure statutory filings and regulatory requirements are met (business registrations, insurance renewals, contract storage), and keep documentation organised and audit-ready.
  • HR & people administration - onboard new hires, maintain employee records, coordinate benefits and payroll administration, track contracts and agreements.

What you'll bring

  • A related business or finance degree.
  • Hands-on experience across finance and bookkeeping, operations, and HR/people admin in successful, well-run businesses.
  • A good grasp of compliance and documentation - statutory filings, contracts, and keeping records audit-ready.
  • Exceptionally organised and self-motivated, comfortable owning multiple and differing tasks end to end without close supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and discretion handling confidential finance, people, and board information.
  • Remotely based in North County Dublin, with easy access to our office and our accountants in Malahide.

Nice to haves

  • Experience across both corporate and startup environments.
  • Exposure to investor relations, board reporting, or working closely with a finance team.
  • Experience using finance tools such as Xero, Sage etc.
  • Experience working in small tech companies.

Your team

You'll work directly with Entity's senior team in a fast-moving tech startup, and partner closely with our external accountancy firm. It's a role with a lot of variety and real trust - you'll be the person keeping the business organised behind the scenes as we grow.

Location & how we work

This is a part-time role of around four hours per day. While the position is remote, you'll need to be based in North County Dublin, Ireland for easy access to our office and to our accountancy firm in Malahide as required. We're flexible on how the hours are arranged - what matters is that the business stays well looked after.

How to apply

In your application include a couple of sentences, telling us about a time you kept a busy team or business organised - what you owned, and how you stayed on top of it.
