About Tractable

Tractable is an artificial intelligence startup, applying recent breakthroughs in deep learning to disrupt traditional industries.  Our algorithms can surpass human performance on visual recognition tasks; we are taking them to the real world.

We have started with the outdated auto insurance industry: we have secured a deal that gives us access to a 200M+ image dataset (1 out of 4 in existence globally), positioning ourselves as the only company worldwide with the data and the AI tech. We've built a first product with high ROI, sold it to our first customers; now it's time to make demand rush in. In parallel, we are establishing a presence in other large traditional industries where our technology can have a transformative impact, namely industrial inspection and medical imagery.

Our sales activities are split 50/50 between the US and Europe, our tech team is based in London, our funding comes from the Valley and our CEO is opening a business office there. We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to light a fire in the US auto insurance market and lead sales operations. As one of the first 15 full-time team members, you will also play an important role in directing Tractable's positioning and strategic direction within our target markets. We are open to work locations outside of the Bay Area elsewhere in the US.
