Toyota Woven City is aiming to have a fully connected ecosystem powered by carbon free energy ("CFE") including renewable power and hydrogen to be built at the base of Mt. Fuji in Japan.

This team is responsible for launching and maintaining a hydrogen demonstration environment at Woven City and conducting demonstrations outside Woven City, collaborating with various stakeholders, and developing business models and strategies. You will report to the head of this team, Sub-Lead of Hydrogen Product Management Energy.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for those who are passionate about promoting hydrogen by leveraging Woven City’s incomparable demonstration environment.

As a Business Development Manager for the hydrogen ecosystem solutions team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the development of hydrogen related software products and leading customer acquisition.

Primarily your role will be managing the product development from roadmap creation, prioritization of features, and ensuring on-time development while leading a team of software engineers and data analysts. Further you will support the deployment of the product at various demonstration projects, support collection of data / user feedback to improve the product (both improving existing functionality/features and development of new features). You will also lead communications with relevant stakeholders to ensure the product integrates with relevant HW/SW applications and support conversations with external partners and customers to ensure the product feature development is aligned with customer needs.

Based on your deep understanding of the product and market creation approaches you will lead customer acquisition. You will be responsible for identifying potential target customers and use cases and initiating conversations with potential customers to identifying POCs and project opportunities.

We are looking for someone with experience in energy/engineering related fields with strong ownership, entrepreneurial drive, experience leading SW engineers, and product manager capabilities. A collaborative mindset is important to work with various stakeholders across departments and external companies.
