Business Development Representative

InDinero is seeking an energetic, motivated Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative you will be responsible for communicating the value and benefits of the inDinero suite of services. The BDR will report directly to the VP of Sales and work closely with the AEs and BD Directors responsible for driving new business. Your goal will be to rapidly increase the volume of opportunities being generated amongst our key verticals, channel partners, and existing clients while expanding the breadth of our partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a self- starter, strong communicator and looking to take the next step in their sales career. This is a unique role as the only BDR, with a wide breadth of opportunity, bridging marketing, sales, and business development.

What you’ll do:

  • Proactively network with key players and prospects across the tax and accounting ecosystem to generate new opportunities and grow key account relationships
  • Research and strategize approaches to create interest in outsourced solutions for SMEs
  • Represent the value proposition and differentiation of inDinero products in the market
  • Qualify inbound leads, then work towards close on smaller deals or bring in help for bigger opportunities
  • Be a power user in the company’s HubSpot CRM
  • High volume of personal, strategic, value-added emails, calls, and social messages
  • Develop outbound high impact email programs in HubSpot
  • Secure meetings for yourself, Sales Directors and Account Services teams
  • Conduct outreach to schedule meetings with interested companies
  • Profile and contact potential prospects through channel partner engagement
  • Provide regular reports on activities, results, and forecasts.

 What you'll bring:

  • College degree plus minimum of 2 years experience in a sales environment focused on prospecting new business or a client services role with a background in accounting or finance preferred.  
  • Passion for building strong, long-lasting relationships. Have a fascination for learning about other businesses and can speak intelligently and win trust with business owners across a variety of industries. 
  • Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 
  • Software sales or professional services sales experience or marketing experience preferred
  • Enterprise sales development experience a plus
  • A solid understanding of social media and marketing
  • Experience with Hubspot preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Desire to progress into a full-cycle sales or business development position
