We are Baltu Technologies and we are reshaping the way frontline workers can do work, train, and learn while on-the-job.In a post-pandemic world, 20 million jobs are expected to be radically changed by new technologies like automation, robotics, AI, and autonomous machines. These technologies are exciting and are creating millions of new jobs but they require training. Many frontline workers are trying to get new skills through schooling but a majority either lack access or aren’t able to complete their studies. Research shows that frontline workers struggle in these classroom learning environments because they’re hands-on learners. Currently, workers can have hands-on learning through apprenticeships, where they follow an expert through day-to-day jobs. But, a large number of experts are older and are retiring by the thousands. There’s simply not enough experts to mentor the 20 million workers that need new skills.That’s why we built SuperDoc, a Just-in Time training platform that brings the expert to anyone. SuperDoc works by guiding less-experienced workers through step-by-step videos, images, and augmented reality created by the organization’s experts. Using SuperDoc, workers can use, fix, and be trained on these new technologies, all while on-the-job.At Baltu we use technology for good. Our mission is to upskill and empower the workforce for the modern economy. We’re working tirelessly to upskill 25 million workers by 2030 and we need a diverse, mission-driven team of people and partners to do it.
