Customer Support Representative
TLDR
Serve as the first point of contact across email, chat, and phone, delivering fast, helpful responses with care and routing issues with full context.
What you'll do
• Answer customer messages by email, chat, and phone, quickly and kindly
• Solve common questions yourself: billing, account status, how things work, document requests
• For bigger issues, pass them to the right team with clear notes so the customer never has to repeat themselves
• Handle urgent problems fast: know who to alert and keep the customer updated until it's fixed
• Always tell the customer what happens next and when
• Keep clear notes on every conversation
Requirements• Excellent written English, clear, warm, and fast (most of this job is writing to customers)
• 2+ years in customer support, customer service, virtual assistance, or BPO
• Comfortable working US hours, including some evenings and weekends
• Calm and clear when things get busy or stressful
• Organized, you can juggle many conversations without dropping any
• Comfortable learning new support and chat tools
• Reliable home internet, a quiet workspace, and a backup internet plan
Nice to have
• Experience using a helpdesk or ticketing tool (Freshdesk, Zendesk, HubSpot, Intercom)
• Background in staffing, recruiting, or virtual assistants
