Early Talent Access Program - 2022
**This is not an internship position**
At Lyft, our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.
Lyft’s Early Talent Access (ETA) Program is a 2-month summer experience that aims to prepare computer science students for future software engineering internships at Lyft. This program is intended to be supplemental to any full-time commitments you might have for the summer (internships, coursework, projects, etc) and the goal is to be both accessible and educational as you prepare for the upcoming internship application season this fall.
Responsibilities:
The program structure is as follows:
- A learning module (broken down into three 60-90 minute webinar sessions) that you will take over the course of a month, consisting of one session per week. During this module, you will attend webinars designed to give you an unfiltered look into the Lyft software engineering internship interview process. You’ll go through multiple stages that mirror the actual interview process, while also getting invaluable tips and tricks from our team of engineers and interviewers.
- For students who successfully complete the 4-week learning module, you will be invited to apply to our mock interview program. If selected, you will be paired with a Lyft engineer, who will conduct a mock coding interview with you. After the session, you’ll participate in a feedback session where we’ll share personalized feedback and tips for improvement.
Students who successfully complete the entire ETA Program will be considered for an expedited interview process for a 2023 Lyft software engineering internship! They’re also eligible to receive a scholarship (up to $5,000) for the 2022-2023 academic year should they meet all of the scholarship eligibility requirements.
Experience:
- Currently enrolled student in a Bachelors or Masters program; and
- Majoring in Computer Science; and
- Graduating in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024
The Lyft ETA Program was established to help aspiring computer scientists excel in technology and become leaders in the field. Lyft strongly encourages students who identify as part of historically underrepresented groups, including Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, to apply.
To kick things off, we’d like to invite you to join one of our upcoming Early Talent Access (ETA) Program Kick-off webinars scheduled for June 1, 2022 , June 2, 2022, and June 9, 2022 where you’ll be able to learn more about the program and what it has to offer! During these webinars, we will also provide ETA application instructions.
Note: if you don’t already have an Untapped account, you will need to create one to RSVP for these sessions.
For candidates living in Colorado the expected base pay range is $0.00 - $0.00 and depending on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
