Graduate Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the movement of products, equipment, materials, and customer shipments throughout the fulfilment lifecycle. Working closely with Order Management, Fulfilment, Quality and Service Delivery teams, the role ensures products are received, tracked, packaged, documented, and delivered efficiently and on schedule. 

The Logistics Coordinator serves as the focal point for inventory control, shipping operations, freight management, customs documentation, and customer delivery coordination, ensuring a seamless flow of products from post-production configuration through to customer delivery. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments to customers, partners, and field locations. 
  • Arrange transportation with approved carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers. 
  • Generate shipping documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export paperwork. 
  • Ensure all shipments meet delivery schedules and customer commitments. 
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve transit issues. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP and asset management systems. 
  • Perform regular inventory checks and cycle counts and support stock reconciliation and discrepancy investigations. 
  • Ensure fulfilment inventory is properly received, stored, and controlled. 
  • Ensure configured products are correctly packaged, labelled, and documented before dispatch. 
  • Verify all accessories, spares, and customer documentation are included in shipments. 
  • Support urgent customer orders and expedite shipments where necessary. 
  • Prepare and manage import/export documentation. 
  • Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to support international shipments. 
  • Coordinate returns, repairs, and reverse logistics processes. 
  • Develop and maintain logistics procedures and work instructions. 
  • Assist in implementing logistics-related KPIs and performance reporting. 
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of products and equipment. 

Requirements

Education 

  • Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, relevant professional certification, or equivalent experience in:  
  • Logistics 
  • Supply Chain Management 
  • Business Administration 
  • Operations Management 
  • Professional certifications could include APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD. 

Experience 

  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics, fulfilment, warehouse operations, supply chain, or transportation coordination. 
  • Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments. 
  • Experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems. 
  • Experience working within a technology, manufacturing, telecommunications, or engineering environment preferred. 

Desirable: 

  • Entry-level or professional supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS/ASCM CPIM, CLTD, or equivalent). 
  • Experience with inventory management, stock control, or logistics coordination. 
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems. 

Technical Skills 

  • Knowledge of shipping, freight, and transportation processes. 
  • Inventory management and asset tracking experience. 
  • Familiarity with import/export documentation and customs procedures. 
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
