We are seeking a highly skilled Head Risk and Fraud to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a company's risk and fraud management strategies. This individual ensures the organization effectively identifies and verifies its customers, manages potential risks associated with them, and prevents financial losses from fraud and other illicit activities
📌 Key Responsibilities:
✔️Own the enterprise risk & fraud framework covering player lifecycle, deposits/withdrawals, gameplay, bonus/campaigns, and payments.
✔️Build layered fraud defenses: device intelligence, behavioral analytics, velocity/rule engines, anomaly detection, consortium data, and manual review where needed.
✔️Lead investigations into complex cases (account takeovers, stolen payment instruments, botting, collusion, chip-dumping, match-fixing signals, multi-accounting, bonus abuse, chargebacks).
✔️Stand up incident response playbooks and cross-functional war-rooms (Security, Payments, Compliance, CS).
✔️Evaluate and integrate external systems (fraud platforms, device fingerprinting, payment risk tools, SIEM signals); ensure data quality and alert precision.
✔️Drive policy governance: risk assessments, control design, QA/testing, and audit trails; ensure alignment with AML/CTF and regulatory expectations.
✔️Provide timely reporting to leadership and regulators on fraud trends, losses, SAR/STR coordination with Compliance, and remediation status.
📌 Requirements:
✔️5+ years in fraud/risk within iGaming, high-risk e-commerce, or payments; 3–5+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams.
✔️Demonstrated success reducing fraud losses and chargebacks while improving player experience.
✔️Deep knowledge of iGaming fraud patterns (bonus abuse, collusion, device farms, synthetic IDs) and payment risk across cards, APMs, wallets, crypto on/off-ramps.
✔️Strong tooling background: rules engines, graph/network analysis, device intelligence, transaction monitoring, case management.
✔️Advanced analytical skills; able to define metrics, build experiments, and partner with Data/Product on models.
✔️Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership; comfortable with external PSPs/acquirers and regulator interactions.
