Our Strategy and Business Operations team seeks an analytical and collaborative Head of Strategy and Business Operations.  If you have experience building Market, Pricing and Operations Strategy for a fast growing technology company, this is the career growth opportunity for you!  The sky's the limit for Cohere’s potential, and you’ll make an impact helping us reach it by contributing to our Corporate Development and Partnerships teams too.

As our Head of Strategy and Business Operations, you will:

- Analyze markets and emerging business opportunities

- Identify potential deals and partnerships

- Lead due diligence and valuation processes

- Negotiate, review & finalize contracts

- Develop strategies to grow the company through joint ventures and acquisitions 

- Provide regular reports to the COO, Leadership team, and Board of Directors on corporate development activities

- Conduct competitive analysis & market intelligence research

The Head of Strategy and Business Operations role is a good match for you if you have:

- Degree in business administration, economics, or a related field, an MBA is preferred

- 10+ years of professional work experience in investment banking or consulting or related role in industry combined with experience working in a fast paced and growth oriented tech company

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data along with proven experience making recommendations to key stakeholders

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence others

- Leadership experience, including the ability to build and manage a team of professionals

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders

- Passion for innovation and a desire to grow the company through partnerships and acquisitions

- Ability to travel to industry events and conferences as required
