About the Role
As Development Manager, you will lead the team of engineers to ship products. You will have several responsibilities, but the primary one is to get a product out of the door. Your goal will be delivering projects and do everything necessary to achieve it within quality and schedule. To do this you need to make sure the development team is able to work as efficiently as possible and this means making sure they have clear goals, both short term, and long term, and that nothing prevents them from doing their work. You will have direct responsibility for the software delivery plan and its delivery

 What You'll Do:

• Lead and motivate a team of talented software developers
• Own and deliver the development of products to spec and quality.
• Manage delivery estimates and roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product Manager, Architect, and QA teams
• Ensure high-quality standards are met whilst balancing the fast-paced nature of the environment
• Driving accountability of the team lead software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Planning, project execution, recruit, hire, and develop the industry’s top engineering talent.
• Own and conduct, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, delivery schedule
• Conduct user research and presents a solid case based on synthesized information gathered through research or testing for the design decisions.
• Conceptualize, create, and usability testing to produce interactive software systems that users will fall in love with.
• Solve difficult UX problems, work closely with Project Managers and Developers.
• Understand workflow & product design and balance the design needs of the customer.
• Helps in defining the UX vision, brand strategy, solution innovation, and prototyping.
• Develops UX frameworks in line with brand strategy, solution innovation, and prototyping.
• Define/Design/Create the User Interface, Information Architecture, Task Flows.
• Help define the vision of end-to-end user experience and guide the programming team on various Usability issues.
• Crosses boundaries between forms & function and ensure the delivery of world-class Ux experience as per user expectations and serves as a root for the user without any biases or project constraints. 

Team Management & People Management:

• Hire, manage, inspire and mentor new members in the product design team. Support the team in their overall growth, provide opportunities for training, and provide mentorship.
• Take ownership of the timeline and quality of deliverables and inspire co-workers.
• Set up the design processes from insight to execution
• Would be Responsible for mentoring and providing creative oversight to both UX and UI team
• Establishing technical and design standards for web development team simplifying design process and efficiencies

You Are Someone Who Has:

• Minimum 12-14 years of experience of designing core experiences for mobile and web platforms.
• Complete grasp of the design process with a keen eye for details.
• Expert in using wireframing and prototyping tools of preference.
• Experience working in a fast paced and iterative product development environment.
• Self-motivated to work on your own timeline.
