About This Role
SpartanX is seeking a highly organized HR Administrator to provide administrative support for the Human Resources department and help ensure our HR operations run smoothly and efficiently.
This role is ideal for an HR professional with 1–2 years of experience who enjoys organization, accuracy, and supporting employees throughout their employment lifecycle. The HR Administrator will be responsible for maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding, processing HR transactions, supporting recruiting efforts, and assisting with day-to-day HR administration.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable learning new technology, and preferably has experience using Rippling HRIS.
What You'll Do
HR Administration
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and prepare onboarding documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records within Rippling HRIS
- Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and separations
- Maintain personnel files and ensure all HR documentation is complete and organized
- Assist with employee benefits enrollment and administrative changes
- Track employee acknowledgments, required documents, and policy signoffs
- Support leave administration and maintain related documentation
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR processes and company policies
- Schedule meetings, interviews, orientations, and training sessions
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and HR information
Recruiting Support
- Assist the Recruiting team with onboarding activities
- Prepare offer letters and new hire paperwork
- Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and onboarding requirements
- Track hiring activity and maintain recruiting reports
- Support job posting administration as needed
Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain HR reports and employee spreadsheets
- Create and update reports using Microsoft Excel
- Audit employee records for accuracy and completeness
- Assist leadership with HR metrics and administrative reporting
- Support HR system updates and data integrity initiatives
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of Human Resources or administrative experience required
- Experience using Rippling HRIS preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience supporting onboarding and employee file management
- Experience creating reports and maintaining spreadsheets
- Experience working in a multi-state environment is a plus
