HR/Payroll Generalist

We're looking for a HR/Payroll Generalist to join our growing team to make Chariot a place where amazing people can do the best work of their career.
This role reports to the Director of People Operations, and will act as the point of contact for employees in the company.
Responsibilities
· Manage and maintain all employment files and track all changes
· Complete on-boarding including; processing new hire paperwork, entering all info into required systems, creating employee files and work closely with talent acquisition
· Process all terminations including; exit interviews, paperwork and benefits terminations (COBRA)
· Manage all HCSO tracking and reporting quarterly in coordination with accounting
· Assist with payroll processing and preparing payroll reports
· Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
· Track time and attendance with the assistance of the Drive Ops Team
· Process expense reimbursements
· Process manual checks
· Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
· Respond to employee questions
· Process employment verifications
· Track common issues and recommend operational changes to maximize efficiency
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
· Strong technical skills including proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite and payroll systems
· Strong work ethic and team player
· Wonderful people person
· Highly effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
· Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
· Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
