We have multiple positions available and are happy to consider applications from anyone who considers themselves to be within a reasonable commutable distance of our London, Southampton or Cardiff offices.

In this role you will support the People Partner in delivering our People plan for their business area. This is a broad, generalist role and your focus will change depending on employee needs and business priorities. Some of the areas you will be working on are:

  • Resource planning, recruiting and onboarding - working with our in-house recruitment teams to continue our growth as a talented, diverse company
  • Talent Management - work alongside the People Partner to identify and actively manage our talent ensuring we retain and develop our best people
  • Culture and Engagement - play a key role in listening to employee feedback, identifying areas for improvement and supporting in delivering change to enhance and promote our culture
  • Reward - support the People Partner in informing decision making for reward processes, providing market analysis and insight where required
  • Coaching and Development - work with employees and first line managers to improve/enhance their leadership effectiveness by providing day to day advice and feedback
  • People Operations and MI - provide input to the People Operations team to ensure accurate data
  • People Projects - work on ad-hoc people projects in line with the People Strategy
  • Employee Relations - Supporting the People Partner with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary. Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations

Requirements

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience in an HR or a People function, preferably working in a generalist role
  • The ability to deliver effective results and meet deadlines in a flexible, organic, fast-paced environment
  • A keen interest in technology and an understanding and willingness to develop your knowledge further
  • Strong execution skills and acute attention to detail
  • The ability to build relationships remotely, gaining the trust of your colleagues in order to support and influence your business area
  • The ability to coach people, empowering them to come to their own decisions
  • An analytical mindset. You will be numerate, with an evidence-based approach to decision making
  • A problem solving approach to People issues, and the flexibility of mind to consider creative solutions
