Summary of Qualifications 

The Sr. HRIS and Benefits Administrator provides operational support to the company and HR team, serving as system administrator for the HR information system, benefits administrator for the company’s own employee benefits program, and providing general support for all aspects of the Human Resources Department. This position has high visibility with employees, and represents HR to the Revel organization, to vendors, to prospective employees, and to other external parties.

  • Data integrity: ensure all information is properly captured and maintained in the HR system; develop and run audit reports to ensure data accuracy and workflow, working closely with the payroll team; ensure data is accurately transmitted to third parties; provide interpretation of data and advice to the company; create and generate management reports.
  • System administration: evaluate content releases in HRIS, implement new or modified system functionality, develop and maintain procedural documentation for HR and employee users.
  • Benefits Administration: Own the internal benefits function, including system setup & carrier feeds, FMLA and leave administration decision making, invoice reconciliation, open enrollment process management, qualified status changes, COBRA, nondiscrimination testing, 401k audit support. Manage unemployment and workers comp insurance relationships and related tasks.
  • Compliance: Submit required government and compliance reporting (e.g., EEO, OSHA, ACA, etc), maintain required employment law posters.
  • Assist with Onboarding & Offboarding: act as backup to conduct new hire orientations, collect and file first day paperwork, back to conduct exit interviews
  • Assist HR team members with special projects

Must be:

  • Highly knowledgeable about employee benefits, benefit plan rules & regulations, and operating a corporate benefits program
  • Skilled at detecting and solving technical problems with superior attention to detail
  • Highly proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • A great team player but fully accountable for results in assigned areas
  • Inquisitive and enthusiastic about learning and change
  • Able to juggle many competing priorities while providing excellent customer service
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations, instilling employee trust
  • 5+ years of corporate benefits administration experience
  • Proficiency with one or more HR/payroll systems at the administrator level; experience with ADP is a must.

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now highly preferred
  • 5+ years of HRIS experience
  • 5+ years of ADP experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination or education and experience
