Gushwork is building an Agent Operating System for small and mid-sized businesses around the world. It is modern business software where AI agents and humans work together. Business owners and leaders set the goals. They decide what each agent is allowed to do. Then they review the metric each agent delivers.
We started with an SEO agent. It owns one metric: organic leads. Once it ranks pages and brings in leads, it reports them back to the customer. We are now expanding into a Paid Ads agent and a Developer agent, each owning a metric the business cares about.

Our customers sell high-value goods and services and have fewer than 200 employees. Most of them are in industries that are not digitally native: manufacturers, industrial distributors, commercial services. They do not buy AI. They buy outcomes. Our job is to make agents reliable enough that a business owner can trust them with a number.

We are a team of about 90 people based in Bengaluru, backed by Lightspeed and SIG. If you want to help us build reliable agents that run real businesses , we would like to talk.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, execution-driven Talent Acquisition Partner to lead and own the full recruitment lifecycle across Gushwork. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with executive leadership, and hiring managers to define hiring strategies, build high-performing candidate pipelines, evaluate top talent, and close key offers.

Unlike traditional recruitment roles that are restricted to a single hiring silo, this position offers cross-functional breadth across technical, product, and business/GTM roles. As an early member of our talent team, you will leverage cutting-edge AI recruiting tools and recruitment analytics to drive speed, quality, and operational excellence while actively influencing company-wide hiring standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end talent acquisition across all functions, driving candidates from initial outreach through offer rollout and seamless onboarding handoff.
  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, specialized job boards, and creative/unconventional sourcing channels to map and engage top-tier passive candidates
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand business needs, draft compelling position descriptions, and define targeted sourcing strategies.
  • Oversee end-to-end interview scheduling,feedback collection, and candidate communication to deliver a good candidate experience.
  • Lead compensation structuring, offer negotiations, and closing strategies to achieve high offer acceptance rates
  • Actively integrate modern AI platforms and workflows into daily recruitment tasks to accelerate sourcing, candidate evaluation, role research, and operational output.
  • Maintain meticulous pipeline hygiene and real-time updates within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Contribute to foundational talent initiatives, including employer branding campaigns, referral program design.
  • Continuously refine internal hiring frameworks, rubric designs, and interviewing guidelines as Gushwork scales.

    • What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of core recruitment experience, ideally within fast-growing software, SaaS, or high-tech product companies.
  • Deep hands-on expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, GitHub, and other modern sourcing platforms.
  • Hands-on experience administering modern Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Lever, Greenhouse or similar).
  • Passionate about adopting AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to optimize recruitment workflows and boost hiring efficiency.
  • Solid proficiency in Google Sheets for pipeline tracking, metrics reporting, and funnel analysis.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
  • High agency, bias for action, and comfort managing high-volume, multi-disciplinary hiring in a dynamic startup setup.
  • Prior experience hiring across Go-To-Market (GTM) functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Business Development.
  • Exposure to building recruitment operations, interview rubrics, or employer branding from early stages.
