Talent Acquisition Partner - Manufacturing

Shutterfly is seeking a Recruiter to support hiring across our manufacturing and operations organization. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of hourly and salaried manufacturing talent, partnering closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to attract, assess, and hire top talent that enables operational excellence.
The ideal candidate brings experience recruiting in high-volume and fast-paced environments, strong stakeholder management skills, and a passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience. This recruiter will develop sourcing strategies, manage requisitions from intake through offer, and proactively build talent pipelines to meet current and future workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for manufacturing and operations roles, including production associates, maintenance technicians, supervisors, engineers, and other plant-based positions.
- Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and hiring timelines.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates in competitive labor markets.
- Conduct candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and assessment activities.
- Guide candidates through the hiring process while delivering a positive and professional experience.
- Manage offer recommendations, offer presentations, and candidate closing activities.
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to manufacturing leaders regarding labor market trends, talent availability, and recruiting best practices.
- Provide regular updates on recruiting progress, pipeline health, and hiring challenges.
Influence hiring decisions through structured candidate evaluation and market insights. - Facilitate interview planning and ensure interview teams are prepared and aligned.
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Build proactive pipelines for critical manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and leadership positions.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels including job boards, social media, employee referrals, community partnerships, workforce development programs, and networking events.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and high-volume positions.
- Maintain relationships with prospective candidates for future opportunities.
Workforce Planning and Analytics
- Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate conversion rates, source effectiveness, and hiring manager satisfaction.
- Use recruiting data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Support seasonal and peak hiring initiatives by proactively planning talent pipelines.
- Ensure accurate documentation and candidate tracking within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing, operations, distribution, logistics, skilled trades, or high-volume environments.
- Strong sourcing and candidate assessment skills.
- Experience partnering with multiple hiring managers and business leaders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
Preferred
- Experience supporting manufacturing or production facilities.
- High-volume recruiting experience.
- Skilled trades recruiting experience (maintenance technicians, production supervisors, engineering talent, etc.).
- Knowledge of labor market trends and workforce planning strategies.
- Experience with Jobvite or similar ATS platforms.
