Manager, Sales Development Representative
As the Manager of our Sales Development Team, you will recruit, build, onboard, train, and lead a global high-performing Sales Development organization. You'll work cross-functionally to generate pipeline across new and existing territories. The SDR Manager will be responsible for coaching the SDR team on how to build and manage accounts and leads to create pipeline, contribute to sales account plans, build rapport over the phone and via email using best practices and Seeq value props, and manage inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting techniques and qualification. You’ll also need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and a focus on innovation and testing to scale and optimize global prospecting campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a global SDR team to achieve monthly and quarterly quota
- Hire, onboard, and ramp SDRs effectively to drive early success in role
- Provide weekly coaching and feedback
- Report on individual and team-level performance, identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement
- Launch and run campaigns with SDRs alongside the Marketing team
- Maintain activity goals and monthly/quarterly reporting to ensure the SDR team is exceeding KPIs
- Partner with marketing to improve lead scoring for better lead flow
- Create the onboarding plans and enablement assets
- Collaborate with sales enablement on training to improve team prospecting skills, objection handling, and product knowledge
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to improve Sales/SDR partnership and strategic prospecting plans
- Assign and optimize SDR – sales executive mapping and coverage
- Contribute to pipeline generation as needed
Qualifications
Seeq prefers to emphasize talent, capacity to contribute, and passion, but the ideal candidate is likely to have many of the following characteristics:
- A passion for technology and software sales, 2 - 4 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
- 1-year prior experience leading a team
- Experience with selling to large enterprise and strategic accounts
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong expertise in outbound sales via an integrated approach using email, phone, and social selling
- You are an expert at partnering with marketing to plan and execute multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns
- Expert at using Linkedin, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Sendoso, Gong, Salesforce, and other sales intelligence and prospecting platforms
- Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external)
- A sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Resourcefulness and results-driven operating style
- Collaborative and coachable mindset while continuously improving your skills and impact
- Ability to ask questions, gather information and formulate an action plan to connect business needs to solutions
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, take initiative, and manage time effectively
