Patient Check-In Coordinator — Manhattan Flu Clinics | Sept. 17 & Oct. 14 | $20/hr
Two weekday flu clinics. A Midtown office. A welcoming face at check-in.
VitalCheck Wellness is hiring a Patient Check-In Coordinator to support corporate flu vaccination clinics in Midtown Manhattan on September 17 and October 14, 2026. Candidates may work one or both dates. If you have experience in reception, customer service, or administrative support, your skills fit this role. Healthcare experience is welcome but not required.
Clinic dates and hours
- Thursday, September 17, 2026: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Wednesday, October 14, 2026: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (clinic 10:00 AM–5:00 PM; setup and breakdown included)
- Location: Lexington Avenue, Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY — near Grand Central
- Pay: $20 per hour for all scheduled hours
- Engagement: Per diem, independent contractor (1099)
You do not need to be available for both dates. Please indicate whether you can work September 17, October 14, or both. Additional per diem clinic opportunities may be offered based on availability and business needs.
What you will do
You will help employees move smoothly from arrival to their vaccination appointment while working alongside the nursing team.
- Welcome employees and check them in.
- Hand out required forms and check that they are complete.
- Keep paperwork, records, and the check-in area organized.
- Direct employees to the appropriate nurse and help manage patient flow.
- Answer non-clinical questions and direct clinical questions to the nursing team.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks, setup, and breakdown as needed.
- Protect confidential patient information.
This is a non-clinical position. No clinical license or medical background is required. You will not administer vaccines or perform medical procedures. Training and instructions will be provided before the clinic.
What you bring
- Experience in customer service, reception, front-desk work, administrative support, or another patient-facing role.
- A friendly, professional manner and clear communication.
- Good organization, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.
- Reliability and availability for the full scheduled hours of at least one clinic date.
- Ability to commute reliably to Midtown Manhattan.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
