Headquartered in London, Perkbox launched in Australia in 2019 and has successfully grown the operation to serve hundreds of Australian organisations. Based in Sydney, Perkbox has built a small lean team of Sales, Partnerships, Marketing and Customer Success people, focused on doing a great job for customers and their employees.

About the Role

The SDR team at Perkbox is the Engine Room of the go-to-market function. As an integral part of the team in Australia, you will generate new business opportunities to drive our pipeline growth across the APAC region. We're an extremely driven and energetic bunch who work tirelessly to engage in meaningful conversations with businesses across the country to explore how we can improve their employee experience, creating new Sales Qualified Prospects (SQPs) for our Account Executives to close.

You will be responsible for a hybrid of inbound and outbound prospecting for corporate and enterprise accounts.

  • Sourcing new leads based on our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Research accounts, identify key players, strategically generate interest and develop relationships with key stakeholders
  • Generate interest in Perkbox through multiple channels - email, calls, LinkedIn, video
  • Schedule well-qualified introduction calls, demonstrations and meetings for key prospects and our Account Executives, communicating effectively for smooth lead handover
  • Communicate the Perkbox value proposition and overcome objections
  • Deliver great customer service to prospects throughout all aspects of the sales process - first impressions count!
  • Updating/maintaining a healthy pipeline of leads in Salesforce & ensuring good data hygiene
  • Collaborating with the SDR team locally and internationally, including sharing of best practises, peer to peer training and constant learning
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Perkbox products, latest industry trends, and the employee experience space


Requirements

  • You will be someone who is committed, disciplined, adaptable, competitive, coachable and a team player
  • 1-3 years' experience in sales, ideally within the SaaS industry. Experience in recruitment, media sales, real estate sales, delegate or events sales is also welcome
  • A confident communicator, with a good understanding of the B2B/SaaS sales process and outbound lead generation strategies
  • Ability to manage and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders and a proven track record of exceeding high-volume sales targets
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take initiative, collaborate and explore creative ways to connect with prospects
