About the Sales Development Rep at Headspace:
The Sales Development Representative role at Headspace is the best job out there for someone looking to grow in a sales and business development role at a fast-paced growth-stage startup. As a member of the Workplace Wellness Enterprise Sales team, she/he will help to spread our mission. We believe in the power of health and happiness can deeply impact each one of us. Location: This role is open to remote employees in select US states: California, Florida, Georgia, Maryland + Washington DC, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.
How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace:
- You will respond to and qualify incoming web and phone inquiries regarding Headspace and how we can help them execute on their wellness needs
- Craft a phenomenal first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a best-in-class experience and pleasant encounter with customer service
- Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your sales and build relationships through communication
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in Headspace
- Cold call target prospects to demonstrate product features and benefits
- Conduct “pre call” investigative work to increase the ability to understand the customer’s current state, competition, etc.
- Achieve quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business
- Opportunity to continuously source new business prospects through outbound activities and occasionally prospect on Events
- Collect market intelligence and competitive information
- You are high-energy and embody a positive attitude
- Strong desire to be in B2B sales position
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle time effectively
- Write professional, succinct, and articulate emails to prospective accounts
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Being confident and eager to consistently communicate with C-Level Executives
- Team-player and go-to person
What you’ve accomplished:
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
- 2+ year(s) of sales experience, preferably as an SDR, required
- You are eager to learn and have a deep interest in selling a B2B Product
- Experience in cold calling and new customer acquisition
- Interested in the Wellness and Meditation space a plus
