Working Student HR (m/w/d)

Picnic is changing the way people shop for groceries – with a fully digital, sustainable, and all-electric delivery experience across Germany. In our fast-growing People team, we're building scalable HR structures that enable our employees to do their best work every day.

We're currently looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) for our team in Düsseldorf.

What you'll be doing

• Help shape HR administration – from maintaining personnel files to updating internal systems (e.g. Workday).
• Independently plan and support onboarding activities and team events.
• Create HR documents – e.g. welcome letters for new colleagues or summaries from feedback conversations.
• Help improve HR processes (e.g. contract management, payment processes).
• Support general day-to-day operations as well as special HR projects (such as AI automations) as needed.

What you bring

We're looking for someone eager to learn, organized, and communicative:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program (preferably HR management, business administration, psychology, or a related field).
• Available for at least one year.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
• Confident with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs) – experience with HR systems like Workday is a plus.
• Detail-oriented working style and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Enthusiasm for HR along with a team-oriented, solutions-focused mindset.
