Sales Development Representative
TLDR
Build and qualify an early-stage pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and close collaboration with Account Executives.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) drives early-stage pipeline growth by engaging prospects in consultative conversations, identifying hiring needs, and generating qualified opportunities through strategic outreach. Working closely with Account Executives, the SDR builds a strong pipeline and ensures smooth handoff for successful sales outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage and qualify prospective customers through strategic outbound prospecting (calls, email, social), building trust and delivering value-based conversations.
- Conduct discovery to understand customer needs, challenges, and goals, and position Appcast’s solutions effectively.
- Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring accurate tracking and strong alignment with ideal customer profiles.
- Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing to drive effective outreach, ensure high-quality meetings, and support smooth opportunity handoff.
- Meet or exceed prospecting and pipeline development targets through consistent, high-quality outreach
- Embrace and effectively utilize emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools, to enhance prospecting, research, outreach, and operational efficiency

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- 1+ years of experience in a sales development, business development, customer-facing, or consultative role is preferred
- Experience conducting discovery, needs assessment, or problem-solving conversations
- Proven track record of high achievement in sales development preferred
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel may be required.
